Merry Christmas

It is Christmas Eve and all through our house, the potato soup is cooking and the sausage rolls are baking.  The boys have been busy.  This is the tradition the Dastard men are carrying forth.  We have already opened gifts and run to the store more than we would like.  The snow that fell this past week is melting but I think we could say it is a white Christmas.  The house didn't get decorated and the tree only has lights, but the mood is right for spending with family.  Halo 3 is the game of choice (I'm out numbered).

I got a Nintendo DS and some Brain games.  I need them.  I also went and bought My Word Coach, Age of Empires and Star Wars Legos.  I'm trying to keep all parts of the brain functioning.  There are parts that need retraining from my younger years of decadence and overindulgence.  The boys both got me an ornament for the tree.  Cartman, from South Park and R2D2 with a Jawa from Star Wars.  Yep, I'm a certifiable geek!  Dastard got me a pair of pearl earrings and a gold & silver necklace.  It was a good year.  I got him a mini Mac with keyboard and mouse.  Actually, they sent me a case of mouses.  No, I didn't order wrong and that is what I wrapped.  The look on his face was priceless.  I couldn't stop giggling.  I could just hear his brain, "WTF?  Now what did she do?"  No, it wasn't any doing on my part, but if you should need a Mac mouse, we have extras!
