Shared on Mon, 12/31/2007 - 08:00Well, they delivered the TV as promised 12:30 PM Sunday afternoon. In the rain (which we needed desperately).
It is slightly different from the HL-T6187S, it is the HL-T6187SAX. I'm sure that makes worlds of difference somewhere.
Apparently the SAX version is slightly newer, maybe with some more firmware changes, most notably, the "choose input" requires the actual television remote as you need to press "enter" on it to change sources (cable to PS3, for example), which is annoying because I already have the DirecTV remote and the receiver remote.
Additionally, the volume bar is on the left hand with a bar going vertically, which I like as it obstructs less of the picture.
The end point is a.) I killed two more targets in Assassin's Creed, finishing Block 4. b.) Georgia is on tomorrow night.
