so little time so many cliches

It seems like there is so much competing for my gaming time. Work, wife, kid, life in general. If you ever visited you would understand why things like cleaning and laundry are not on that list.

Even when I do play there are so many games that I want to play but will never have time for. I just got back on live after a 2 month hiatus and jumped back into H3. That game is so much fun and is packed with features that all FPS should have. I could play it for 10 hours strait and never notice. I pretty much did that last night, but the sweet reward of 7 ranks was totally worth it. (amazing the things that pass as accomplishments these days)

At the same time though COD4 is calling me and I want to jump onto that bandwagon. So then what, I just drop H3?

I never had this problem when I only had 1 game and never knew any better. I played R6V for 6 months or so exclusively because money was tight and I had a friends list of people who played it daily. Then I started coming to this site and learning about all the new games that I had to have. My friend list came apart at the seams as Mass Effect, Assasins Creed, COD4, H3, NFS Pro Street, and a bunch of others came out at the same time.

Decisions, decisions……

Speaking of which…I’m in the process of changing my gamertag. I don’t like having my name in it. It takes away all the allure and secrecy of the xbl experience. Now that I have close to a year of xbl under my belt I’ve learned some things.

1. Your name will get shortened so pick something that doesn’t sound stupid when it happens.

2. Your name will get mispronounced so pick something on a 2nd grade level. For example sardonic becomes satanic and sadistic.

3. If you think your name is creative, there is a good chance that there are already 10 pages worth of it.

4. Remember that you might eventually want to tell people at work or at the video store, your family etc. your gamertag so try not to pick something like “baw1z 1n ur m0uth” or “XX0X ph4n47ic X0XX0”

5. If it can be perverted it will be. For example flagmaster becomes fagmaster

So that leaves me with……pretty much nothing………This is the reason I’ll never get a tat, just too much indecision.
