I bought the game on release on a PC that I constructed myself (AMD 3700+) in August 2005. It has held up well, but now Oblivion periodically crashes to desk-top, which it didn't do six or twelve months ago, which is a little frustrating.
It doesn't have a rhyme or reason. Zoning doesn't cause it, being in the same area that it crashed last time doesn't cause it. I guess the game is corrupted somewhere and I need to uninstall and reinstall the game. Maybe I'll just install it on the other hard-drive to see if that helps...
