Kids eh?

If I had know then what I know now I would have named my daughter “trouble” or “little shit.”

I love her to death, but she is not one of those calm little kids that sits there and plays with blocks or is content to watch Barney.  She’s only 15 months old but she would much rather try to throw the block over the gate or kick her Elmo doll across the room.  If you turn around for 2 seconds she’ll climb up onto a kitchen chair and try to get up onto the table.

Better yet, we’re in a townhouse apt. with a stairway going up the wall in the living room. Of course we’ve gated the bottom but that doesn’t stop her from using the railings to pull herself up the side of the steps and climb the wall.

I don’t remember signing up for this….When I put her down for a second to get my wallet out at Walmart she thinks its hilarious to run away and have me chase her through the isles.  Come on man, cut that crap out.

Maybe it would help if I didn’t laugh so much when she did this stuff.  I guess deep down I love it.  Who knew?

We discussed calling our dogs "Giggles" and "Vinegar" so we could use their alt titles of "Shits" and "Piss" when we were mad at them. I have a 3 year old who never did the sprint thing much, but our 18 month old loves to pull that crap.
