Shared on Fri, 02/01/2008 - 09:34The good news is that this time I didn't actually burn a baby (see blogs below for more on that). But as promised, here's another bright move brought to you by L3FTY.
I drink tea. There it is, I said it. Usually only during the winter, if that's any better. Last night I was watching Syd and got the hankering for a warm cup of red rose. I put on some water and went back to whatever we were doing. A few minutes later I heard a crash from the kitchen. Not to odd since we have 3 days worth of dishes stacked tit high on the counters and stove.
Stove, Hmmmmmm
I went in to check. Surprise, surprise. I had turned on the wrong burner, a burner that was covered in dishes and a plastic container filled with silverware. when the container melted apart it dropped the silverware all over the stove and floor - probably a good thing in hindsight.....
Anywho, melted plastic on the stove silverware and our flat pan thing (griddle?). Luckily the pan was teflon so once I had it cooled down much of it peeled off without a lot of scrubbing.
Note to self - have the wife wash dishes when she gets home from work tonight.
