First of all, we have rampant influenza A in my area.  If you or your family has high fever, upper respiratory symptoms, go see your doctor so that you can start your medicine (probably Tamiflu) within 2 days of symptom onset, otherwise the antiviral is useless.

Managed to haul myself out yesterday afternoon on short notice that my wife was going to take the kids to the park in the early afternoon, so I went for a nine mile run.  Felt good to stretch and hurt for that long again.

On-call last night, nothing too terrible to report.

Office is busy with the flu.  Watch your back.

which flu made me throw up, and then have the runs for 5 days. Had Fever and my body felt like it had been in a 12 car pile up?

Usually a stomach flu will cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and cramps. That can last 12 hours or up to three days, depending on the patient and the specific virus.
