Vertigo, again.....

I am home from work today.  Called out sick.  Well.....my back hurts and I had another vertigo attack during the night.  Now, not only do I hurt, but I can't walk a straight line or even stay upright for any amount of time.  This is not funny!  Hubby is harping on me to go to a doctor.  Well, nurses make bad patients, and the truth is, I don't have a primary care physician.  I get sick so very seldom, that every time I try to go back to my "PCP", he is long gone and I have been dropped as a patient.  Anyways, I have had the MRI and all that, and there is nothing there!  This such a pita!  One good thing, tho....  As long as I sit very still, using the computer doesn't bother me.  Well, not much.  Disturbs my tummy a little, but a little tea takes care of that.  My eyes are a little more affected than usual, this time.  That means my tummy is a little more affected, too.  I am going to resist my intense desire to "sleep it off".  At least, I hope so.  Bah!  This is soooooo hateful!

I'm sure you've tried meclizine, but what about a scopolamine patch behind the ear for the vertigo?\r \r > \"I have had the MRI and all that, and there is nothing there!\" \r I'm sure your husband concurs.

Ack! The thinks we say without realizing how it sounds. HaHa! I don't want meclazine, cuz I want to be able to function. :( I never thought of a scop patch. Thing is, it's not dizziness...It's worse than that. Would a scop patch help the sensation of being off balance? The world swinging back and forth?

I dunno Pearly. I am not fond of doctors either but this sounds like a pretty serious situation. I would make it a priority to get in and get checked out.
