As much as the current government state saddens and frustrates me, I am happy towards it when there's money involved. My IRS check was deposited this week. A nice chunk of money was put in there, and I'm thinking of what I should buy. I've already put a chunk back to savings (one day, I'll own a house...with a wife...that'd be nice) so I decided to use a bit for spoil money. I don't need car parts this year (my brand new HHR bought 3 days before Christmas saw to that)

I'm still trying to decide what I should buy

       OR

I have an ipod already, a 30GB 5G ipod. it does the job, but the battery is slowly going. It shouldn't last much longer.

i have one of those eeePC's at work, but because of our company standards, I can't use it for personal reasons (I could hook up my gmail to Thunderbird, that's about it). So I'd like to own one of these for myself, but mainly for an email machine. I have a laptop that has been crapping out lately (that which I type on) that I'm about to send off to HP support AGAIN so they can reconnected the headphone port that they forgot to do after they replaced the system board. Thank goodness this laptop is still under warranty (barely)

I'd like to hear from anybody who uses these items. Any recommendations or words of wisdom regarding your device?

Here's an easy way to use your work laptop with your home stuff. Download and install Virtual PC onto a USB stick. Then install XP and have the image stored on the USB stick. There is nothing written to the work HD.
