Don't Have A Title

I appreciate the comments concerning my last post. I was talking to my wife and we think now that my daughter is a teenager she’s ready to hear the truth about why I’ve backed off from her life the last several years. Last night, she was asking my mom the typical “child of divorce” questions. In the past, I’ve tap-danced around those kinds of questions because I felt she was too young. Since things were already confusing enough for her, I didn’t want to add to that by bad mouthing her mother. I’m still not going to go into all the sordid details, but I am going to explain some things. I think she’s old enough now to decide how much a part of her life she wants me to be. As long as she’s happy, I’ll do whatever she wants me to do.

Baseball is officially underway. Baseball, to me, is a weird sport. If I try to watch it on T.V., it’s not long before I catch myself dozing off. However, to see it in person is an awesome thrill. I don’t know if it has to do with being outside, the crowd, or a combination of the two, but baseball just seems completely different when you’re there. Catching a couple of Indianapolis Indians games is definitely on my to-do list this summer.

Gotta love the beach...

Baseball is infinitely better in person.

It sounds like you have handled things well so far. If you and the wife agree and you can explain without accusing, go for it! She will figure the truth out sooner or later. Good Luck!
