more early morning ramblings

I was up very, very early today.  Excited about my trip, I guess.  Or, more likely, my usual early morning insomnia.  No work today, but packing and last minute plans....getting an oil change and tuneup.  Making sure about directions, addressess and phone numbers.....

In referece to yesterday's rant.....I would luv to, Dan, but I am in bed asleep when most of the raids even start.  I would be a weekend raider, that's about it.  5:00 am comes very early.....

Words......I am not one to use "bad" language much.  Oh yeh, I use them, but I feel there is a time and place.  My mother taught me that it is more "intelligent" to describe things with fancy words than it is to just say, "oh shit!".  That was her opinion.  It sorta stuck, tho.  I have actually read that it is absolutely human nature to blurt out a great cuss word when surprised, hurt, or whatever.  I know, we all do it, even me.  But, since I have been online these last few years, I have also learned some new words and gotten quite used to hearing what I used to simply call "language".  Someone I luv a lot convinced me it was ok to say "fuck".  Wow!  I still don't use that word!  I guess it is just my upbringing and my age  cuz it has become a very common expression, to say the least.  What is this leading to?   Nothing much, just my early morning rambling, again.  But, one thing is for sure...  Common as it is, there is one expression that I have found to be very useful, and I use if more and more, in print, that is.  What is that?  WTF??  Yeh, that says it all.  It's a great litte expression.  I had a short discussion with some coworkers about language and how we feel about it.  Even the one that wouldn't ever utter a cuss word in her entire life said she liked "WTF".  Too funny!
