mini lan with meemoos

I wonder if I could get used to this west coast stuff.  Just knowing that the rest of the country is up and at it when I am just crawling out of bed....hmmm.  Fun times yesteday!  We went to the beach.  Meemoos, myself, and the little Mees.  The weather got just a little better just for us, but it was still c-c-c-cold!  We walked the beach looking for, well, anything, had lunch at Mo's, best clam chowder ever, and topped that off with a Blizzard from DQ.  Good stuff.  I guess putting it out there that I needed to be fed or I would waste away was a good idea.  LOL

Last night we had a houseful.  Lady is Red and her charming hubby, Shakes, brought their brood and we all settled in for a night of complete chaos.  The baby is 3 months old now and absolutely adorable!  I had him a lot.  Had to keep the other kids from stepping on him or something...  We ate pizza, the kids pulled out every toy that exists in this world.  Wow!  I didn't know there was sooo much kid stuff!  After awhile we got down to business.  Kids watching a movie.  I was playing WoW.  Shakes had COD4 going in the other room.  And Meemoos and Lady were in here with me playing Oblivion of the HUGE screen.  What a gas!

So far I have luved everyone I met!  I cannot possibly even begin to think about where I might go, where I might live, if there was any particular reason to do that.  I just couldn't choose! 

Today?  Driving back to Portland to catch a flight back to Chicago.  I'll stay there overnight and be totally confused sleepwise.  I was just starting to get used to this time, and I'll be changing to Central today, and Eastern the next day.  Yikes!  Heading for Canada, the Toronto area.  w00t!  See ya soon guys......
