Happy Friday guys and girls. It's time for another installment of Small Town Life from the Police blotter. Let's dig right in and see what silliness we have today.

+ Citations were issued to Cynthia S. 46, for harassment and defiant trespass after she was allegedly peeking in the windows of the property on 95 clinton st.

+ A citation was issued to a 16 year old femal on May 8 for retail theft after she allegedly took a brownie valued at $.35 from Circle K

+..."Police issued a citation to Lucy A., 18 of Erie for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after she reportedly punched a window of the police car and dislodged it from its frame"

+ A citation was issued May 11 to a 15 year old juvenile after parents brought their son to the police department intoxicated.

There are a few more DUI and public drunkeness and underage drinkings but none are really that out of the ordinary. Every now and then we have someone driving to the VFW, Drunk, on their lawn mower. Maybe next week.......

Woman indicted in Myspace Suicide Prank

I'm sure that you've all read about this at some point or another. A woman creates fake Myspace persona and sends mean emails to neighbor girl who then hangs herself. Yes, its not nice to do but let's be realistic, internet bullying is the easiest bullying in the world to end. If you don't like something then block them, take them off your friends list, turn off your computer etc. its not complicated.

And then we have the girls mother talking about justice blah blah blah. Where were you when your daughter was feeling traumatized and getting emotionally involved with a stranger on the internet??? Turn off the Food Network and pay attention to your kid.

Maybe I don't have all the information but my opinion is pretty much a conglomeration of what I've already said: It's too bad that a young girl is dead, but there were probably other contributing factors and she could have verily easily mitigated the situation by blocking "josh." Some responsibility also has to fall on her mother. I hope this case gets tossed out.
