Shared on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 23:04I have a tip for any budding game designers out there. If you are making a game that you actually want people to PLAY, and you are designing the second level, here is a bad combination of factors:
1)Small room, rendering camera frustratingly unusable
2)Giant fucking spider boss with tremendous amount of hit points AND unstoppable attack if you get too close--which of course you fucking DO if you want to hit him
3)Throw in an unstoppable supply of henchman who spawn at random points throughout the room and can SHOOT FUCKING ARROWS
OK here's the thing. I got Ninja Gaiden knowing it would be a challenge. But HOLY FUCKING SHIT! They couldn't even wait until a later level to hit me with this shit? I am about to throw my damn controller though the fucking SCREEN
Everyone waiting to see reviews before buying this--if you're worried about it being frustratingly challenging, it is. Pick up Indiana Fucking Jones. I know I wish I did.
