Now DANCE!!

Little family thing that we do.  At the end of any movie - or for certain commercials - we all jump off the couch and DANCE!  My kids and I started this when Todd was away.  It's now, according to my son, "a mandatory Hammett Activity".  :)

Sometimes we hold hands and go in a circle, sometimes we twirl each other around - then my daughter will shout "SOLO" and we all break off and do our own thing.  My son is excellent at the one-legged jumping thing... my daughter is more clumsy-ballet.

Last night my hubby joined in the fun.  We watched Fool's Gold (very cute movie BTW) and at the end "NOW DANCE!"  Excellent beachy reggae music.  My hubby dipped me at the end!  LOL  It make me smile so hard it hurt.

The best movie so far we have seen with good end credits music is Evan Almighty.  The Everybody Dance now Remix with shots of the cast dancing like crazy is a hoot!  It was the original inspiration for the Hammett NOW DANCE Activity.  Most movies - even bad ones, even ones from the 80's, even kiddie movies - have GREAT end credits music.

Try it out.  It will make you laugh.

My dad has lived on the lake going on 15 years now.  As a kid, he taught me to swim (well, tossed me in the deep end, and didn't let me drown) and frequently got in the pool with us.  I haven't seen him in a body of water, other than the spa, since I was about 14 years old!  And to live right next to the lake!

Well, grandkids make you do the darndest things!  LOL - My son finally convinced Papa to come hang out in the Lake with him.  And my Dad's new wife... excuse me, Step-Mom got pictures!!  YaY!

Nice Hat Dad.  :)

Dad Spam :  It's been mostly political stuff lately - good stuff, makes me LOL, but I am not ready to be the Political Blogger... :)

A man was lying in bed with his new girlfriend.

After having great sex, she spent the next hour just stroking his pecker,
something she seemed to love to do.

Enjoying it, he turned and asked her, "Why do you love doing that?"

She replied, "Because I really miss mine."

Good one GP! Also, thanks for not getting political. Whether I agree with someone's view or not, I can't stand reading media generated BS. pH

Jeep, The Dance....toooooo funny, I love it! I just wanted to share this with you. My family might hunt me down for telling this. Sometimes we have a family Mario Kart Family Tournament. Winner gets whatever we can think of that day....last time it was two slabs of ribs... Somewhere along the way someone started to do this victory dance after the win. You have to stick your butt out, shake it all over the place, in peoples face, you name it, and basically look like a fool to the joyous laughs of others. It's so much fun to see each persons individual kill-dance. The losers are laughing so hard that it keeps them from getting out of control. I know it's silly but it's become a tradition now.
