Happy Anniversary to Me!

I have been bad.  I knew hubby was sick, but he feels soooo much better.  I kept it to myself.  I didn't remind him.  I wondered if there would be a card on the table for me this morning.  No.  Well, he took the little guy out and they had lunch and picked up a few things at the store.  Maybe?  Did he remember?  NOT!!!  He is having distinct problems with memory, energy, even his eyesight.  Still sleeping at least a couple hours a day and up to 10-12 hrs at night.  He just came in from trying to mow some lawn.  Came dragging up the stairs and told me he was bad cuz he had forgotten our anniversary.  Why did he suddenly remember?  It might be the card I left for him on the table.  That is usually what we do.  He looked like hell, so I asked him if he was in for the day.  He said he mowed for about 5 mins and had to stop.   I am still worried that this RMSF will leave some chronic stuff with him.  Ack!  Just don't know....

Adtler is in the other room playing Cat in the Hat.  He hums when he plays.  I have missed him so!  I get all the hugs I could ever want and also a gaming partner!  His mother has told me only 2-3 hrs of gaming a day.  Sounds like a lot, but.....  She says I can let him watch TV during the day, too.  No limit on that.  WTF???  I see no difference at all, except the games may engage his mind a little more.  And he gets excited and jumps up and down, getting his exercise!  So cute!  TV is the boob tube, dumb in, dumb out.  I haven't watched TV in years.  Ah well, grandparents can break the rules and spoil the gkids, right?  Last night he read his bedtime story to me, instead of the other way around.  I think we may have a genius in the family.  After all, he is only 5 years old!  For another couple weeks, anyways.

Definately agree with ya there Pearly. Would rather have my kids playing video games than watching TV any day of the year....and yes grandparents are allowed to break the rules and spoil the grandkids a little too...

Yeah, my mother-in-law thinks gaming is a waste of time. However, she can sit and watch four hours of soap operas?! Yeah that's productive. Have a good anniversary pearly!!!!!!!

Congrats! I know how you feel I've been married 11 years and I'm still as happy as the day I said "I do".
