Today's daily sketch.  Luke Cage from Marvel Comics.  Not really a fan of the character the way he's written in the Avengers titles, but he's partners with my boy Iron Fist where he's a more interesting character.  Been kinda slacking on the daily sketches lately, but I have been busy drawing pages for a short story I'm putting together, along with the coloring shit I do.  I've tried working traditionally again with ink and markers, but the results weren't anything I'm happy with.  Need more practice there.

Beefy this Cage rocks! Sorry to hear your not a fan of the current Mr Cage. Im totally digging his current incarnation. In fact I have my fingers crossed that they will make a movie based on the current Luke. :D Anyway this is a great piece! It has a nice GTA feel to it too. :lol: I love the pose and the color. Sorry i missed a few past posts i see. The Arch Angle is kick ass! Great expression. The Punisher is nice too. Also a cool cover for the book. Great stuff man keep up the posts!! :D - BAT

Good stuff man! I always meant to ask if you had any formal education/classes in art. You should do an old school cage. with the yellow shirt, chain belt, and metal tiara. would like to hear more on your short story. I'm going to try to bust out some sketches today. I'm about almost out of paper, and will need to make a trip to the art store for a new sketch pad.
