CBW ON THURS DOUBLE POST SPECIAL!!

I just wanted to see my boobie pic up on the blog bar more then once...

Kid scare this week...Summer which has zero fear of anything, was climbing on our patio furniture on Monday, well Teri goes over to pull her off, grabs her to pick her up, and then Summer does this wiggle/squirm/thing...the way Teri is holding her and not having the best stability at the momment....leads to Summer falling out of her grasp, and doing a forehead plant on the concreate....FAIL!!!!

Now the scary part, she does not start to cry, her eyes are open, but it is like nobody is home. A few minutes later (which is actually seconds but seems like an eternity) she starts to cry and a bump forms on her forehead. Teri calls our peeds Dr. and the nurse asks all the questions and has determined that Summer is fine, but to be on the safe side to come in and have the Dr. check her out. So she goes in with Summer, gets her checked out, and the Dr. says at the very, very worst she might have a very slight concusion, but it is doubtfull...The Dr. says to keep an eye one her and if she starts to puke, or some other stuff, to take her to the ER...otherwise do not let her fall on her head again for the next 7 days..

Teri then calls me and lets me know what is going on...I am pissed/scared/freaking out all at the very same time. Primarily because...

1.Teri is (at the time of the accident) 11 days out of knee surgery...WTF is she doing outside with the kids. When she knows damn well she has the mobility of a manitie right now. (that is a little bit of an exageration, she is getting around amazing well compared to the last surgery..but the rage has taken over at this points...so...on with our show)

2.Teri knows Summer and Logan are climbing up/over/on/under/through everything and anything...WTF would she let summer climb on a little table for...See #1

3.I am a parental N00b

Moral of the story, Summer is fine, when I got home on Monday she was running around, being her normal crazy self.. Just with a bruise the size of a silver dollar on her forehead.
