Friday Aug 8th. Skirts R US!

Ok, so ever since I purchased my utilikilt in California, I have been looking for womens plaid skirts. I love wearing my kilt so much, I figure I can wear womens plaid skirts in public & everyone will think its a kilt since I have established that I like & wear one. I love going into the womens stores, walking right up th the salesgirl & asking for plaid skirts. Then I tell them my little story about purchasing my utilikilt in California, but that there are none to be found here. SO I tell them that I decided to wear womens plaid skirts & pass them off as a kilt. They usually giggle & agree about how comfortable wearing a skirt is in the summer. So I want womens plaid skirts to wear all summer long! The salesgirls are very nice. Many even offer to have me try on the skirts I pick out. There are even other women in the change rooms. I tell the salesgirls that I do not want to make a scene, but they walk me to the change rooms & set me up while they pick out some nice skirts for me. They are so nice! I only had 1 that was put off by this.

I usually wear my utilikilt kilt while I am shopping for womens plaid skirts. I tell the salesgirls that the skirts are for me, but most figure it out. Now mind you the womens plaid skirts are a little shorter than my kilt, which is fine by me. But I do have limits. I dont wear anything so short as to look stupid. And when wear I wear my womens plaid skirts in public, I usually wear a solid colored(usually white) tee shirt (mens), panties, diamond studs 1 in each ear, & a pair of womens flat sandals. Its very liberating!

Last night, I wore my plaid skirt (a womens skirt) to my parents place when I went for supper. At first they were a little put off. My dad asked me if I want to be a girl. LOL I told them again about the California thing/kilts, etc..... then they calmed down. LOL

No, my parents would not accept me in a skirt, but if I wear plaid skirts & spin it as a kilt, then I can get away with it.
