RNC Already in Full Force...

So the Republican National Convention doesn't officially start until next week in St. Paul. But the hoopla has been going strong all week already. I work in the building in Minneapolis right next to the hotel that all the organizers are staying in and the parking ramp across the street has been surrounded by about 30 police cars for a week.


Today there is even more excitement. About 2 minutes ago I took a picture from my building window looking straight down to the street. The flippin bomb squad is here. You can't really see it, but the yellow line at the bottom of the picture is police tape surrounding the entrance to my buidling...So here I am at my desk, blogging while half our staff is staring out the window. I don't know if we're locked in or if people are locked out. LoL.


In other news, select bars are open until 4 am next week for the politiicans. Lushy Republicans.

Yes, I remember when I was a kid and a vice presidential canidate was going to speak at our local after school program. The secret service agents came up to us and asked if we knew of any 'secret entrances'. ROFL
