Returning a Gift...

Long story short my daughter had been given a bedroom suite at her birth from my mother's cousin.  Said cousin is now in the throws of Menopausal Mayhem and I believe slightly insane.  She informed us Thursday night that we had to give it back.  Immediately.  Like Saturday morning.  Her friend just adopted a baby from Russia, and she wants to give her the set.  NOW.  This weekend.  Doesn't care where Sarah sleeps.  I radiate calm and tell her that is just fine.  Then got off the phone and went outside to howl at the moon a bit.

Grrrrrr. 

I roll with the punches life deals me.  Especially those that come from family.  My daughter may have to give up her Bellini set that she adores.... but Mommy knows how to make her forget about that old set..

Oh yeah!  How'z about a HUGE PINK CASTLE BED BITCHES!  That's a slide people, coming down from the bunk.  Underneath is a play area with shelves (perfect for the kittens!)  She will have her Castle Bunk Bed in two weeks.  She is thrilled.  I am thrilled.  My cousin can go pound sand.
