Little Big Planet – now only $519.98!

I am trying to figure out how (and when) I am going to get a PS3. The only reason I want this POS is to play Little Big Planet. Problem is: it’s $399.99 ($519.98 with the game and tax)! That’s some major dough for one game. I have always hated the Playstation, but, as always happens, an exclusive comes out that forces me into giving money to Sony. I’m planning on giving it to myself for Christmas, but even that is pushing it for xmas. I guess I could count it towards my sons gift (nah, I couldn’t do that…could I?). He would play it as much as I do. Yeah, maybe I’ll do that. Then my present would only cost $260. Yeah, that sounds better. Generally Accepted Accounting Practices FTW!

 
In other news: Yesterday, my poor puppy got his manhood chopped. I cringe every time I think about it. *shudder* He is taking it well, though he is very interested to actually see what is going on down there (he has one of those cones on). I couldn’t imagine having to do through that. Oh well, what Bob Barker wishes, Bob Barker gets.

I'd wait and see what people think about LBP if there's nothign else that interests you to play on it and you're not looking for a BR player. WIth a new IP it's really hit or miss if it's going to deliver, it's not worth shelling out 400 bucks for the console as well if it doesn't deliver.

What the fuck kind of tax is that? 13%????? And I thought the Massachusetts 5% tax was bad...

Tank: you're right. I am going to be buying it in November, so I'll have time to see how it goes. Auto: You aren't the only person to have said GAAP, but you might be the only person to have said, "WOHOOO GAAP". DS: 13% pays for our healthcare system, brotha.

You could probably set up a real life LBP studio in your garage. All you need is a little scrap wood/cardboard, some paint, and a sackboy plush doll. Much more cost effective.

There'll be pleanty of feedback on the game before the holidays, so don't worry. I was in the anti-PS3 camp, but after getting one, even with just the two games I have (Warhawk and MGS4) I'm very happy with the console. LBP will just be icing on the cake.
