Enterprise. They always come out on top, because they get awesome ideas on the very last moment. In this case, they'll quickly realise they're outgunned, so they beam Sulu over, disguised as an imperial navigator. He bluffs his way into the bridge and relieves the real navigator. Of course he's found out, but not before he locks the the destroyer on a course into the neutral zone. Just before he gets shot, he's beamed back to the Enterprise because Scotty had a lock on him the entire time. The Romulans then destroy the Imperial Ship out of general principle.

Match 2, the random ensigns. Again, their awesome ideas at the last moment saves the day. One ensign is on the engineer path and he has been toying with the idea that 20 phasers daisy-chained together set on overload would make for a pahse-bomb that would put the stormtroopers in an alternate reality. Of course, this idea is never been tested and there are millions of things that can go wrong because nobody knows what really will happen. A Vulcan ensign even believes that it will end the Federation of Planets as we know it! But having no other options left to them, the engineer-ensign gets the green-light to daisy-chain the phasers and overload them. Of course, it works like a dream and the ensigns win.

given that arguement, would have to go with the enterprise even tho the star destroyer is bad ass in the movies you never really see it in action....it just kinda floats around as for the ensigns, meh, stormtroopers every time, there's no hero's for them to shoot at so they should be spot on with their aim-bots while the random ensigns get killed in every single episode of trek yes i revel in my geekness

The enterprise. - Shields plus better maneuverability would win them the day...that and photon torpedoes. Sadly I have to give it to the storm troopers. - If they were good ensigns they have already been promoted which leaves us with the red shirts...and those were born cannon fodder. And Cryptic...Bravo....lol

Sorry, but even the writers of Star Trek couldn't pull something magical out of their collective asses to let the Enterprise destroy a Star Destroyer. Ensigns...against Stormtroopers? Ensigns would be too busy picking their pimples or going to "school" during their tour to put up a fight.

Don't the ensigns always die on away-team missions? Stormtroopers win.

Star Destroyer wins a head to head fight. However, The ensigns beat the stormtroopers quite easily by beaming them into space. :)

Pssst.... How about the X Wing from starwars VS the Mk.I Viper from Battlestar Galactica....? I'd like to see some crossover to that show.

Star Destroyer FTW. The Star Destroyer has ion cannons to take down the enemy's sheilds, then blasts them. Plus nobody has mentioned the full contingent of Tie-Fighters that the Star Destoyer would unleash. The Enterprise is dead. Stormtroopers would win. They would pretent to want peaceful coexistent with the Federation, suggest they put down their weapons and talk it over. The gullible Federation Idealistic Ensigns put down their weapons to engage in negoations and are then vaporized.
