I suppose the hardest part will be convincing yourself that there is no other option than quitting.
As long as your brain finds it acceptable to have that one cigarette you'll probably fail. Sorry.
I never smoked but have been around many who have stopped or tried to stop. I know it was and is very hard for them.
Good luck. You're going to need it for this adventure.
Take the dollars you don't spend daily on smokes and put it into a sock drawer. Tell yourself that's your reward for any successes (try not to spend it on food). I think you will be so surprised at what you put aside you'll have an extra boost to stay off smoking. Just an idea I had.
