My brother had just completed the single player and invited me into a game so I could check it out. Well.....about 25 games later I was hooked! This is by far the best part of the game. The could eliminate the rest of the multiplayer action, keep zombies and the game would be just as good - maybe better. It prompted me to pick up where I left off on the single player and bang it out so I could unlock it too. I've dreamed about zombies for two nights in a row now - good stuff.
So far I've gotten to level 10 by myself and to level 17 with my brother. With two people it's pretty much cake with the bolt actions until level 5. At that point we move into the back room with the mystery box. One person can hold the back room and one person can hold the main room until about level 8 or 9. At that point we pull back into the back room for another level or two. During this time we visit the mystery box a few times between rounds trying to get the browning, flame thrower, ray gun etc. The ray gun is great since it counts as a pistol and you can kill people while you are down getting revived. Anywho, at level 10 we move the couch and go upstairs from the mystery box room into the room with the grenades. This should be called the alamo, its where you make your last stand. back into the corner with the grenades and buy/throw buy/throw. if you have to reload, crouch so that the guy behind you can keep shooting. At level 12-13, it comes down to luck. If you have to reload at the wrong time, or they make it past a grenade there are too many to kill and you get over run. This is also the best part of the game though, freaking intense and fun.
I say screw the multiplayer map packs, give me another zombie level or two. If anyone else wants to help me break level 20 send me an invite. I think it may be possible with a team of 4. Also, if you have a different strategy than the one above, please let me know.
