Well... this is gonna sounds STOOPID but I DL'd stuff... can't find it. It's a theme (yes, a waste of $$$ but it's my man's $$$, so who cares?). Checked all the usual suspect: it says I DL'd it, it's not in the active DL and it's not in my theme list.

Got some nice guy on the phone, very professional... it's sort of funny: you can tell that they are trained up the whoo-ha on how to be a good phone customer service person. "If I am understanding you correctly..." "Can I call you Marcie?" stuff like that.

Well, I jsut had to go into my DL history and re-DL the theme. kewl!

Other than that, it's insanity in Ottawa. We had our first major snow storm: 25 cm of snow right at the wrong time of day. On top of that there is a transit strike: no buses this AM. Basically, when the radio came on this AM, the lovely traffic guy told me that everything was already backed up. Now: I actually live in Barrhaven, which is South of Ottawa, by quite a bit... There are only 3 roads out and only 1 of those is double lanes. Barrhaven is also a bit of a boom town: seeing as housing in Ottawa will run you over $400,000... Barhaven... $250,000. Point is: tons of slush+ tons of regular traffic + 20% more cars on the road = over an hour late and a husband who didn't even bother going in.

Erica and Daddy have chosen Pirate names for the three of us: Guess who is who. There is a Captain Snotbubble, Captain Coffebreath and Captain Meowmeowmeow

You should have said 1/4 of a meter of snow. A lot of people might not have know what you are talking about and it would have sounded like a whole lot. LOL

10" is still a lot by my standards. At least, enough to be a major pain in the ass if I have to go out and deal with the other drivers.

Ahhh...snow. We might get some here this weekend. My normal 20 minute drive to work becomes 2 hours. Nobody here puts winter tires on until it snows. It is even better watching the yuppies drive there 4x4's around thinking they are invincible, they always end up in the ditch or sideways. Me? I love it. I take my time, keep the truck in four wheel drive, and I don;t worry until it is halfway up my bumper. Lowest part of my truck is 8 inches off the ground..no worries...

We got about 15 minutes of sleet last night, does that count?
