TIS THE SEASON

As I've mention before I have a friend that works at Gamestop. When he's there I'll run in for a quick visit since my favorite bookstore and coffee shop is only a couple of doors down. this time it was in the afternoon so the  Mom's were out in force, and I couldn't help but notice some of the quesions he was having to field. "Excuse me, but does this game go with this console?" Does the Wii only come in white?" What does this big M mean on the cover?" I really hope you have a smarter lot to deal with in your part of the world, but if stupid questions were gold, he'd gotten rich in the single hour I was there. when  our's was younger,I didn't know all there was to know about their toys either but I tried to learn enough to know if I wanted them to have it or not. I understand as well that there's more out there now but if your child's hobbies are a stranger to you, something is very, very wrong. In this season of giving that were in now we need to remember that hug's and kisses are free, and an hour out of our day to spend time with them won't kill us either. If it does were dead already. Trust me, they grow up faster than you think and it's ALWAYS the little things that they remember. Sure spoil them with toys, but spoil them with yourself as well. Peace out.

PS 3 funny. If you do get him one and only give him Little Big Planet. Then if has for another game tell him to play with his sac. Sorry revs could not help myself on that one.

Yeah, I like the begining of fall when leaves are still hanging on they are changing colors, the weather is not cold enough for frost...but I know what you mean....now the sky has lost its clear blue look and had those gray and white puffy clouds that shout "Snow" and now that the leaves are down it does look so barren.....accompany the bone chilling weather and it simply does suck! Its gonna be a long winter! Oh, and super glue! :)

I associate the coming of Winter with being able to drink hot chocolate, super-warm fuzzy pajama pants, holiday treats, work snow days, and fresh snow before anyone has driven on it when it sparkles in the sun and blinds you.

Amen man! What you do is awesome. It truly is more about the giving than receiving. The joy you can bring others is always the best present. Keep up the great work, you DO make a difference.

Oh, I love the 'foreigners' with American names.....I got a hold of a guy, sounded Indian, once that called himself Kevin...couldn't understand a word he said, drives me nuts. I wish you had an option to speak to people whos first language is English, lol.... Press One for English Press Two for Spanish Press Three for someone who can actually speak English without making you say "huh" after everything they say.

The fall always makes me anxious, mostly due to this being when tourists start appearing and clogging the roads, shops and malls. First cold front of the season, may get down to 60 F tonight or tomorrow. Time to break out the parka...
