procrastination and hair!

w00t!  Last day of work before Christmas.  I have 5 days in a row off!  It will feel like heaven.  I am really having a hard time thinking about leaving the house today, tho.  I procrastinate so much about Christmas, and, woe is me, I am not ready.  The Christmas Tree is up.  No decorations around the house this year.  Well!  I have a good excuse.  All the pics and knick knack stuff that was on the entertainment center are now on the mantle, bookshelves, etc. until I can figure out what to do with them.  And, the new HDTV is still just sitting there, uninstalled.  Hubby did not trust himself, or me, to put it up, so we have to wait until Friday (after Christmas, d'oh) to have someone come to the house and do it up right.  So, the house is a mess, I have no idea what I'm cooking for dinner tomorrow, and I give up, it will just be this way.  I have to wrap the gifts, put out a few decorations, figure out dinner, maybe even play some christmas music to get me in the mood.  Bah Humbug!  I can thank my daddy for that attitude.  He was the true grinch in the family.  Hey dad, do they have christmas in the afterlife?

I have been presented with a challenge.  It started out when my friend grew a beard and long hair.  WTF?  I saw his pic and about fainted.  He is truly a very beautiful man, but now you can't see his face.  Ack!  Yes, I know you are reading this!!  So, starting today, the hair is gonna grow!  Yes, I had hair almost to my waist when I was a young lady, but, a divorce and needing a change, I cut it all off.  It is very heavy and thick, even still.  Last March there were some of my coworkers that shaved their heads for cancer support, and they all have full heads of hair, now, and even have gotten hair cuts.  I can do it!  Who knows, I might like another change.
