Here's a list of games in no order that I feel are worth second look to get you into a new game w/book for less that $25.00

(1) The Outfit.

A basic shooter where you lead your squad to battle the nazi war machine. I'd give it 6.5-7

(2). NCAA March Madness 08

Purchased for under $10.00 w/book, it features all the classic teams and a good amount of options. 7.5 easy.

(3). John Woo's Stranglehold.

I got the game and book for less than $8.00 and for my tastes this is one of the most overlooked games of all time. 9

(4). Kayne and Lynch; Dead Men

Game, book, and strat. guide for under $16.00. Hit Lynch with some teargas just for laughs. 6

(5). Tony Halk's Project 8

Purchased for $4.00....better control, better grapics= better game if you enjoy theses going in. For fans only.....5.8

(6). Dynasty Warriors 6

Bought for $17.00 battle against thousands of soldiers to become history's greatest warrior. Great control and a good story line. 9.25

(7). Tiger Woods 07

$12.00. What can I say? Best golf series ever!! 9.75

(8). Army of Two.

$13.00. I really love this game. Grant you nothing new but a good story line and lots of action. 8.95

(9). Battlefield Bad Company.

$11.50. Good little game with some laughs thrown in here and there. 7.50

(10). Tenchu Z

$19.00. yeah it's not Ninja Gaiden but still a very decent game. 8

I hope this will be useful to help get you in a different game and not break the bank. I know game tasts will vary and these are my thoughts only so if you think some of these suck, let me know what you're playing in the under 25.00 cost. Peace out.

I had a post going in the OT forum about this. I think that this is gonna be more and more of a topic as people have less and less money. I'm thinking of picking up Madden 09 so I have a football game. That will never get old. Maybe then nascar and stuff like that....at least to have 1 of those kinda games. :)

Great call on Tiger Woods, BF:BC and Project 8. I played through the demo of Stranglehold and while I thought it was alright, I felt the demo was about all I needed to play. Is there a lot more to it in the actual game? The novelty of the game dynamics seemed to wear off pretty quick.

I just happen to be a big Chow Yun Fat and John Woo. While I don't think the demo done it justice, if you're not a fan of the movies, I'd say pass it by.
