To each their own. I prefer warm blooded animals that can provide companionship instead of a shark. Dogs and cats are more likely to invoke an emotional response than a shark because they are more likely to make a difference in a human's life. People can't respect human life. It's going to take a lot longer for them to respect any other life.

1 that is friggin horrible. 2 Lux, you of all people should know you need a friggin TON of chum to bring in sharks...one kitten in the water won't do it....and once they are there they will strike at anything moving or not. 3 seriously HORRIBLE!! that black one looks just like out little Piedie.

Few comments: #1 I'm pretty sure this is bullshit. #2 I don't understand people who either hunt or fish for "sport" in general. I try not to get preachy about it, and I recognize that it was once a necessary survival skill that probably shouldn't be entirely abandoned. #3 The term is sentience. Humans are a higher form of life than cats or dogs. Cats and dogs are higher forms of life than fish. Fish are higher forms of life than invertebrates. Invertebrates are higher forms of life than bacterium. This is the way nature works. So yes, it's a bigger deal when cats or dogs are abused than fish. #4 If I ever witnessed first-hand this happening, I wouldn't take pictures or call the police. Rather I wouldn't stop beating the perpetrators until every bone in my hands was broken.
