Brooklyn Rules

So I just finished watching Brooklyn Rules on streaming Netflix. I have to say this was an excellent movie. I did not have super high hopes for it. I set it up to be something to kill a bit of tiume till the Percocets kicked in. But wow.

First off, I am not a huge Freddie Prince Jr. fan. He is an ok actor in my book, but he will never be Robert De Niro. But he pulled off a great performance here.

This movie is about 3 friends growing up in Brooklyn in the 80's. It stars FP jr., Alec Baldwin, Mena Suvari, and Scott Cann. One of them, Scott Cann has minor mob ties (with Alec Baldwin), one is in college and trying to get ahead in life with his girlfriend (Mena Suvari) and One, is just trying to get by.

I wont spoil this movie for those thinking of checking it out, but suffice to say, it was a pleasant suprise.

For those of you with an Xbox 360 and a Netflix account, make some time to check it out. For those with a PS3.... Suck it.
