The collapse of Western Civilization is gathering steam

I got in a stupid bar-bet the other day about whether Napoleon Bonaparte was born in the 18th or 19th century (18th, btw).  I whipped out my laptop and started typing into the Google quick-search bar.

I was immediately dismayed to see that Dynamite was listed above Bonaparte as suggested Napoleans on the search-ahead.

Sigh.

Honestly though, who the hell searches for Napoleon Bonaparte? Tell me that's not the first time you've EVER done it.

Yes, it was a "working" lunch that just turned in to a "drinking" lunch. That tends to happen. :D

Oh, okay that makes sense. I thought you were just out with the pals and had your laptop at hand. I was thinking that maybe the inability to detach ourselves from technology to enjoy simple conversation amongst friends was the problem with a collapsing western civilization.

I think that's the whole point. Fore me personally, it's likely the 3rd time I've probably looked up Bonaparte. Which is about two times more than Dynamite.

Well I can see how someone could be mistaken. He was born in the 18th century (1769) but he "ruled with the beginning of the 19th century. His mark was made on the 19th century and that's what most people would associate him with. His march on Moscow was in 1812, probably one of the most famous graphs of all time is showing the decline of troops on this campaign.
