Kitty:

One of the comments asked if my kitty was one of those fluffy stuffed animal look alike cats. So I took a better photo of my baby =)

She's all gray with green eyes.. and sometimes a bad little gremlin!

Cables:
I finally had a chance to fix up my cable situation in the gaming/entertainment center area. This took FOREVER! I probably started around 2pm and didn’t finish until 6pm or so yesterday evening. I wanted to do it right so I unplugged everything first, untangled all the cables and went to town! Thanks to everyone for suggestions. I used Velcro wraps, plastic cable ties, thin (~.5in) vinyl tape and one “wrap” thingy for the cables running against the wall. The cable nails were delayed in shipment so I still have to do that but it’s mostly for the antenna cable. I broke out a better camera this time to show off my handy work =) You can barely see any cables now at all. YAY
Today I will be searching for game and controller storage solutions. I kind of want the games displayed somewhere. The Wii also seems to be sticking out like a sore thumb, with all it's whiteness. I have to figure out if there are covers for it so it doesn't look so unbalanced.

Mouse:
I ordered a Logitech VX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks from Amazon. This mouse is awesome! Ergonomic design is superb; it feels very natural to hold it. It has a battery life indicator (takes 1 AA), and has a small slot in the back to store the USB receiver when not in use. (which is great for me as I always lose USB keys). Scroll wheel can be adjusted for "smooth" or with "ticks", and there is a zoom and extra buttons on the sides. It seems to work virtually on any surface. I tried it out on my leg even! I highly recommend it if anyone is in the market for a new mouse.

New Games:
I got Oblivion and started playing it a bit yesterday and so far I’m not impressed. Considering I’m still in the “underground” dungeon mode but I really dislike games where you have to adjust screen brightness to see anything. Why are game designers so lazy these days and can’t add some ambient lighting in these situations. It’ doesn’t feel REAL at all. To me that's just bad art direction.
Others I got are Tomb Raider Underworld, MK v. DC Universe, Rainbow 6 Vegas, Halo 3. I tried out Halo 3, but I think I want to finish GoW2 before getting too much into another game of this type.

Since I got up quite early today and the sun setting over the city was looking quite beautiful I took a couple of photos from my window.
