Bicycle Race

So the latest group of people to make it onto my list of "People Who Annoy Me" are bicyclists.  It's not that I hate bikes or even bike riding.  Just those pompous jackasses that take up the entire road forcing my 300 HP vehicle to creep along at 3 mph.  Particularly the dicks who decide they should partake of this activity during rush hour.  Not only do they tie up traffic, but then they look at you with indignity as if you are intruding on their right to the road.  I really want to hit one of these guys.  Not enough to kill 'em or anything, just enough to knock 'em over so the line of 20 cars behind me can GET TO WHERE WE'RE TRYING TO GO YOU SLOW USELESS MOTHERF$*#(%$&!!!!!

When exactly does it become appropriate to ride your bike in the road anyway?  When I was in elementary school, we were told to ride on the sidewalks.  Is there some magic age that one becomes where you graduate from the sidewalk to the road?  Is that some hidden part of getting your driver's licence that I wasn't made aware of?  As long as you've graduated to the road, the least you could do is...FOLLOW THE DAMN RULES OF THE ROAD!

I really need a cookie right now.

Actually Big, bikes are supposed to be ridden on the road and follow the same rules as motorized vehicles. My peeve is when they are on the road and then use the crosswalks (without getting off) and expect drivers to yield to them.

I don't mind those fast bastards that zip along like Lance Armstrong--those guys work out pretty well in the road. But the hippie college dickwad loafing along on his beach cruiser can shove it.

I fucking hate it when they ride 2 or 3 abreast. Or how about all the walkers and joggers who ignore the fucking sidewalk and walk in the fucking road

Want me to ride in the gutter from now on? I will if it will help you get to your job 20 seconds earlier.

If they are on the road then they should be licensed and have to obey the rules as a vehicle. For me the biggest issue is that they are pedestrians and always have the right away so they can do WTF ever they want and you have to yield to em.

I with you Big, I just honk for them to move over and if they don't I just drive my car extremely close to them really fast. It helps that I have a really loud Subaru to scare the shit out of them. I figure if they can't give me the courtesy, then why should I return it.

They are a vehical and they should follow all the same rules of the road as everyone else. Most of the ones In my town are really good about using bike lane or staying far right unless they are turning left. But I also live in one of the most bike friendly cities in the US. So we have lots of bike lanes. I see just as many douchnut car drivers out there as douchnut bike riders. I prefer the bike riders because I dont have to worry about them killing me and my family.

Kinda lucky, where I live in Arizona cycling is really popular (proably because of the weather) but most of the roads in my city and those around it have bicycle lanes. Actual lanes with lines and everything so it's not too bad.
