It was an incredible trip full of vivid people, scenery, and substances. I learned many things, but of the most useful might have been on the way home.
#1 We left Indianapolis for Jamaica on March 6th.
#2 Indianapolis is in the Eastern time zone.
#3 Jamaica is same time zone as Indiana, so it doesn't require a watch correction.
#4 We flew home via Charolette, NC on March 11th.
#5 Charolette is also in the same Eastern time zone
#6 Some dipshits in congress changed the start of daylight savings time this year
#7 Jamaica doesn't utlize daylight savings time, or at least not at the same time as the United States
#8 When you're in a country that doesn't change to DST, you don't change your watch
#9 When you return to a country that does use DST and made the change while you were gone, it makes it really easy to miss your connecting flight because you sat in a bar for an hour too long drinking.
Oh well...
