Thoughts

Well, we had a lovely weekend, with great temperatures and lotsa sun.  I wore shorts all weekend.  Nice.  Tomorrow?  More rain!  Next day?   High of 45 degrees!  This crazy weather has not stopped spring from coming, tho.  Tulips, Daffodils and all other early stuff is all blooming.  Trees are in full bloom.  Some are done blooming and already leafing out.  NC is just beautiful!  And strawberries are coming into season.  mmmmmm  I've been buying them at the store, but any day now I will go and pick my own at the strawberry farm.  Yum....

I've had lots of time to think, lately, and the crazy thoughts are bouncing around in my head.  Maybe if I write some of them down, they will stop....for a while.

If you say you are going to do something, do it!  Life is too short to keep putting off something important, good or bad.

Take time to smell the flowers.  What?  Too busy?  Make the time.  It's easy and you will be happier.  It doesn't matter what it is....just make sure you do something for you, every day.

Don't forget your friends.   These are people that have suppported you thru times of trouble and have unconditional luv for you.  Yeh, that's right, unconditional.  That means, they don't judge you, they support you, and are always willing to help you out.  Make a phone call.  Send an email.  Even a few words sends the message....I luv you, too!

Oh, yeh, and if you luv somebody, especially that special friend luv, tell them.  They may think you are mighty strange, but I don't hesistate to say "I luv u" to my friends.  It feels good.  Even if they don't say it back.  They express it in different ways.  My daddy alway did for others.  What is that?  Every time he would fix my furnace, help me mow my lawn, work on my car, etc., he was telling me he luved me.  Nice.....  He's been gone for a few years, now.  Funny I would think of him today when I am feeling all gushy and stuff.

Ahhhh, when people ask how I am, you know, that "hi, how are ya" thing....  I actually answer them, even tho they don't really expect an answer.  I say "I am just great and luvin' life".  Always makes them stop and smile.
