continuing saga

I have been talking to a lot of my friends about my personal situation.  I have found that I luv living alone with just my kitty.  I have found that univited visits from him are intrusive and uncomfortable.  I am enjoying the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want, and sitting around in a T shirt and underwear, just cuz I can.  Now, back to my friends.  Some of them assume I am getting a divorce.  So far, that is not even a consideration.  They ask me frequently how things are going, and am I liking my current living arrangements.  One friend at work says she did a similar thing and has never looked back.  Another simply says "sure sounds like Chuck" every time I tell her what happened this time.  btw, Chuck is her x-husband, one of 3!   I have even been told to get a restraining order...right here in this blog!  The problem is, I have to have everything in place to make a big change in my life.  I had this apartment rented, had become full time at work, and had my own bank account before I even told him I was leaving.  Now the freedom is, well, all good.

But, things do change.  I am mulling over the idea of getting a separation agreement.  I haven't decided yet, but I really don't want him back and I don't want him strongarming me into doing things i don't want to do.  I also think I will take the advice of many, and not answer the phone or the door.  Let him think what he wants when he sees my car and I don't answer.  Perhaps I have company???  Could happen, ya know.  And, that is prolly why he wants to make these surprise visits.  He is positive I have a "boyfriend".  Let him think that!  Hmmmm, not a bad idea......

So, once again, the continuing saga of Life with Penni.  Or without, however you look at it.

And, hey!  Check out the front page for info on how to go to the LAN free!  It's a contest, so have fun with it!

Seems like a helluva way to run a clinic! They are about as empathetic as Attilla the Hun. In its own way, would almost be as bad if it turns out to be nothing, but you have to stew about it for months! Good luck, hopefully it is nothing to worry about.

They should book you for a breast ultrasound in the meantime. They should be able to get you in quicker for that. Call backs should be done within 2 wks of notification of the need for one. Making someone wait a month is not appropriate under any circumstances. Definately try for the Ultrasound, its becoming a more popular test in place of mammograms in some areas.

You need to talk to the Manager or who-ever is in charge. Oh, and if you'd like...give me the phone number. I'll have them bringing their "machine" to your house for the additional views. You can always get your films and take them to a different facility for the additional views.

sorry Baine--must dissagree. Ultrasound does not take the place of a Mammogram. Calcifications are NOT detected on an US. Ultrasound CAN determine if the "mass" or "area" is a solid or cyst. It is a nice compliment to a mamm. The facility SHOULD block an US time after the add'l views. Pearly.....GIVE ME THAT NUMBER!!!!! I'll be nice...I promise!!!

I have had the ultrasound already. And, yes, I have a cyst. Not worried about that. Unless, of course, it is not really a cyst! 4:30 now and she still hasn't called.
