MSFT Press Conf REcap

Okay My MSFT Key Note Recap This was crazy. There was some great games talked about, but the new tech is freaking crazy.

Modern Warfare 2: Gameply looked awesome. They had some trippy gun with a radar screen on the gun. The snowmobile scene was intense and looked awesome. It looked sweet.

Crackdown 2: Not much details, just a trailer, but SWEET!!!

Left 4 Dead 2: again just a trailer but should be good.

Splinter Cell Conviction: I am not a big fan on this series but the game looked good. Environment plays a big part in sneaking around.

Forza Motorsports 3: again I am not a huge fan of racing games, but the graphics looked awesome.

Halo 3: ODST: Looked awesome, it is built on the halo 3 engine and looks similar but does have a cool story. you are a rookie drop troop behind enemy lines.

Halo: Reach: New Game announced. not much said, just a quick trailer. You see Reach beining attacked and tehn a voice of a spartan (Not John, 117(guy from halo)) say they have spartans on the ground.

Alan Wake: New sci/ horror Thrid Party shooter. Looks interesting. Kinda like gears, but you need to use light with guns to fight of creatures.

The next MEtal Gear Solid coming to xbox 360. MGS Rising is all about Ridian.

Twitter and Facebook will be on Xbox

Netflix will be updated so you dont have to go to the PC to pick the movie. you can just select the movie from the xbox screens.

The biggest announcement is the development of Project Natal. HOLY CRAP this was crazy. It is the use of motion sensors, voice recognition, cameras to develop the next gaming experience without controllers. When you walk in front of the system is recognizes you and signs you in automatically. you then navigate the menus with hand motions. You will then play games with using the motion of you body. It is full body motion sensors. you kick, your avatar kicks. This is nuts. The biggest impact was when Lionhead came on stage. It seems the developer has had it for a couple months and has developed an AI that interacts with the user. To quote crob " this is skynet type of stuff". The AI interacted with the user just like a person. It recognized facial expressions, writing, movement. etc. it is hard to explain, you need to watch the video. It was really the future of gaming, and i can bet sony and Nintendo are crapping them selves if they do not have something close to this.

Also they announced that xbox 360 games will be available for download like the orginial xbox games in August.
