Shared on Sat, 06/06/2009 - 11:03For various reasons, mostly because I care WAY too much about things, I have allowed myself to get a bit stressed lately. I think that if I do more and more and more, volunteer and volunteer, I will be able to accomplish goals too lofty for one person. The result? People stop listening, and I get stressed. So what now? One as to pull back a bit, re-evaluate the situation. I am but one person, and while I do have influence, I alone cannot change the world, the site, the economy overnight. Stressing myself out will accomplish less than nothing.
So... what have I decided to do? I am going to think globally and act locally. I want to increase the sense of community at 2o2p? Great! The tacks which I have been taking have gotten me no where. So what can I do?
GAME DAMMIT!
Sometimes I forget why we are here as a crew. We are here as a community to game... to not hang out with 12 yo boys, to play and have fun with one another. So. Now we know that: here is the big question: compplete a second playthrough of Mass Effect or complete Bioshock, or PuzzleQuest Galactrix? Or hell: COD:W@W... go pwn some timmies?
thoughts?
