Busy Busy Busy

It's been a while since I have blogged about anything, so here 'goes.

 

It's been a crazy busy two months for me. First came the birth of my second son on the 16th of May. My older son is 11 in July so it has been a while. It's actually taken that long to have another. Not a nice decade to be sure. Lots of heartache. But I digress, he was 8lbs 2oz and 22 inches long and of course cute :) He's now a month old and 2 pounds, 2 inches bigger/longer. He's a lanky guy, just like Dad!

 

 

So gaming has been on the decline lately (no surprise there). It has been nice not to play Halo so much. You really get to appreciate the game for what it is. I've also used the piecemeal time I do have to play some other games. Mass Effect, Fuel, Prototype and Infamous to name a few. All great, except for Fuel....bah. I thought I would miss my nightly Halo sessions with the HaloTards, but it has been nice to step away for a while (not from the Tards, but from Halo). I have also been trying to get the HaloTard: Part 2 montage done. I just can't seem to muster the energy to crank it out. So many things, so little time.

 

Work has been nuts too. I have a project to complete for August 31 that is just not going to get done. It is so time comsuming...I work on commission, so it's been taking away from my income too. But what are you going to do. *shrugs*

 

I sooo want an iPhone 3GS. I've been waiting for the feature set that this one has. Problem is that I currently have a Blackberry through my business and I am unable to get my exchange email on the iPhone. Pisses me off. Maybe I'll get it and keep my BB? yeah right...

 

Father's Day this weekend...I got my Dad a photo book through iPhoto on the Mac. I couldn't believe the ease of use, quality and price of the final product. Since we just had a baby, I thought it would be great to compile all the photos of the new guy (which we have a lot of) and put them in the book. It looks amazing. Beats the hell out of getting him a jug of Turtle Wax (again).

 

I'm coming to terms with my 11 year old leaving the house without me and hanging out with his friends. Mind you, he doesn't just go galavanting around the city, but it still is scary for me to let him go. I guess in a few years he'll be stealing my keys and peeling off down the road....and guess what? I get to do it all over again in 11 years! yay me.

Anyway, there I am. Only took me two days to write this with all my free time. I'll try to blog more - I'm sure both of you were missing me. ;)
