Editing the Narrative

And the press wonders why people don't trust them?

At 0:04, video of a man at a protest in Phoenix, AZ with a gun around his shoulder and one strapped to his waist, cropped in such a way that you can scarcely tell anything about him.

At 0:35, a trembling MSNBC reporter describes “white people showing up with guns strapped to their waist.”

The video as MSNBC shows it:

And what the man carrying the assault rifle looked like:

What was missing in MSNBC's video that may have changed the narrative of their discussion?  I mean, anger, racism, and everything are valid points to discuss in reference to our President.  But, the discussion was in association with the video, which, seems to miss a very important aspect.

“White people showing up with guns strapped to their waist.” will sell more advertising than "black patriot exercises his 2nd amendment right"...

I thought only the right was guilty of scare tactics.

Well clearly the guy in the video toting a gun IS a white male, I mean he was lawfully exercising his rights, was well spoken(OMG can you say that about a black person and not be racist?!!??!?), and not pro-Obama(at least in this instance). Clearly NOT a black man in America today.* *That is if you believe the likes of Jackson/Sharpton/etc.

Scare tactics work. Don't knock the scare tactics. Look at the MOAB. lol. MSNBC and Fox news are so great. Flip sides of the same damn coin. And seriously, what's the point of walking around anywhere with an assault weapon?

David, its a passive aggressive reminder of our second amendment rights. Its become a trend at rallys.
