Back from vacation
Whats up guys & gals. I have returned from my week-long bout of absolute laziness and relaxation at the beach. It was great while it lasted and provided a much needed break from the hum-drum normality that had almost driven me crazy.
It was amazing being able to wake up, step out onto the deck of the house, and watch the tide come in. Every day the weather was clear I went out and just sat on the beach, taking in all the awesomeness and sea air. And on the rainy days.....I just opened the windows and stared out at the ocean.
Much meditation was had. It just really sucks meditating at home won't be as good. But I'm still gonna keep at it. Its helped me a lot with keeping my cool and not letting things stress me out. The real test will be my first week back to work.
It stinks I had to leave. But I plan on making it a yearly tradition. Better to enjoy life while I can and take any opportunity I can to visit my favorite relaxation spot.
And oddly enough I didn't miss getting online or playing on Xbox Live. Its nice to be able to do that again, but it wasn't a huge thing that I couldn't for that week.
