just another day in the life..

My car is in the shop and won't be ready by Friday, as promised.  No surprise there, really.  So, I have a date for Busch Gardens Saturday and have to rent a car.  Not having a car at all is disconcerting.  It has been almost a week and I can't go anywhere except work.  Blah!!!!  Good thing I had company over the weekend to drive me places.  We went to see the movie 2012, which kept me on the edge of my seat.  Very good disaster movie. 

So, in trying to save some money in the long run, it will cost me a bunch of bucks right now.  I always let my stbx make all the decisions, cuz it didn't matter what I said, anyways.  So, I virtually have no insurance on my car.  The rental car for this weekend is not covered.  BAh!  And the body shop told me they found more stuff under the hood that was damaged, so add some more to that.  I was told initially that I have a $500 deductible, but in the back of my head I think that is wrong.  Of course, all that stuff is at the house.  I am still furious about being found at fault for this accident.  But, I have also learned that you can't really fight it once they decide, cuz there is no evidence that I was hit from behind.  Bah!  When I have my court date, I will tell my story, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and will still be found at fault.  My stupidity at not getting proper information at the scene of the accident is going to cause me more trouble than it is worth.  Already has. 

But, life is good!  It just has these little (huge) bumps in the road, then you just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again.  Isn't there a song or a movie somewhere that says that?  lol
