Yay Blogging

So I recently got into trouble at work.  They found my blog and Twitter page and didn't like some of the things I had to say.  I never mentioned the company I worked for or my legal name so how they found the blog I really don't know.  Anyway, I was made to "remove" the posts.  I ended up just deleting Twitter because I didn't care about it that much.  I've decided to move my blogging over to this site since you need to actually log in to see anything.  I figured it would be a little more private.

So have any of you ever had trouble at work from something you posted online?

OK apparently I was wrong and you can see blogs without having to log in. I think blogs should only be viewable my members.

Remove your photo maybe? Unless they know your gamertag, it could be anyone's blog. My company doesn't care. In fact, they encourage the twitter/facebook etc because of networking. Lol, whatever. Yeah, networking... that's what I'm doing.

well if you are doing it from work, it doesn't take much for a motivated IT person to figure out who you are on here

Being self employed, sometimes I say "Hey! Do some work and quit screwing around on the internet." Then I say to myself "Screw you! I'll leave and you can do all the work." I always cave in and try to reach a compromise.

They checked blog messages from way back in 2007. I did have a few Twitter posts that I made from my work PC but mainly it was at home or on my cellphone. And they wern't complaining about when I posted but what I posted. Apparently you're not allowed to have an opinion at my job.
