Resident Evil 5 Update

So my daugher and I continue trying to beat Resident Evil 5.  We are on chapter 6-3.  We managed to get off the ship with Wesker.  Then we did the little battle with him on the plane.  Then we crash land and are trying to kill his mutated form in some volcano.  Ok first off...why the hell are we fighting in a volcano?  Shouldn't we all just burst into flames? I could be wrong but I'm thinking lava is pretty hot.  I digress.

So we managed to hold off his initial attacks but everytime Sheva (my daughter) gets knocked into the lava when we get separated.  I even managed to push that rock into the lava but she still fell and died.  Apparently I am missing something.  I finally gave up and turned off the XBox.  I'm not really sure where we will start when we turn the gamem back on.  I am hoping we don't have to do the ship part again or that game may never be finished. I can only repeat something so many times without any gain before I just give up.  That's exactly the reason why I never finished GTA IV.

If I ever managed to be it I'll let you all know.  Wish me luck.

It's tough - I couldnt push the button fast enough to save Sheva, so after playing her through the entire game I switched characters with the person I was playing with, she pulled Sheva up with no problems. We got it finished.

One thing that helped me was having a but load of flame rounds for the rocket launcher, as wesker would chase sheva alon the far ledge I would just hit him over and over, that gave her plenty of time to get down to the boulder, and I could push it in before he cought up to her. this game is hard, especially jill and the 2 wesker fights, but your almost there, dont give up...

you're sooooo close!!! This was the most frustrating part for me. I played as Chris the first go round. Playing as Sheva was alot easier. The jump is the hard part, and Sheva has to time it just right as Chris pushes the boulder. GOD SPEED! That's the finale and the worst challenge of the whole game imo!

1. Speed and Accuracy. 2. He wont die until Sheva is back over the boulder. 3. Choose the right weapons. 4. Don't give up. The game gets better the second, third and forth time around. Special weapons, unlimited ammo. Damn, I gotta start playin again.
