The Greatest Blog Post of ALL TIME (aka What Could Have Been)

I just spent the past hour writing a wonderful, picture-laden blog recapping all the cool news (TRON Legacy / Flynn Lives updates, final PAXEast recap and 2old2play community updates) that I had to catch up on following the conclusion of PAXEast. Unfortunately, for some reason unknown to me, my browser reset and all that work was lost to the ether. I would love to recreate this wonderful content for you so that you can marvel at my wit, complexity of story-telling abilities and sheer coolness. Unfortunately, I simply don't have the energy or will to go through all the work and mind-numbing creativity that it would take to reconstruct what I wrote.

Flynn Lives Update

Much activity in TRON Legacy ARG while I played games and drank beers at PAXEast. Encom badges provided access and SWAG for the Flynn Lives faithful during an Encom press conference held in San Francisco to announce the launch of new online version of Space Paranoids video game. Press conference is crashed by Flynn Lives protesters, guy jumps out of a helicopter and chaos ensues. Unfiction message boards add approximately 500 pages of updates that I must somehow catch up on. This section included several pics of the press conference with whitty descriptions and insightful commentary. Now, you just get the pics.

2old2play Community News

Here I mentioned the new initiative to launch a series of 2oldplay Street Teams, Caesar's work on an upcoming XBL Community Playdate and the emminent launch of the long awaited V3 update for the site. I culminated this recap with a resounding call to action directed at all 2old2play members that was so eloquently worded that you would have jumped out of your computer chair and proceeded to pimp this community to your friends and neighbors immediately, without the need for motivating incentives such as T-shirts, official titles and notoriety. Now you will simply have to click on the links and read the articles yourself.

Final Thoughts

I culminated The Greatest Blog Post Ever with a succint yet fresh recap of how incredibly fun and exhilerating it was to attend PAXEast that once again would have motivated all 30,000 2old2play members currently registered on this site to rise up and take over the gaming universe in the name of mature (aka Sans-Timmies) gamers the world over. Once again, now you are simply left with more pics of PAXEast which you have most likely seen via other web sites, blogs or Photobucket accounts by now.

So does the Greatest Blog of All Time thus fade into the fog of the accursed internet black hole that is my computer. Maybe tomorrow I will have better luck, or at least not press F5 by accident and thus erase over an hour's worth of work. One can only hope.
