Another thing to think about

Today lets talk about something that all men should be worried about when they feel discomfort in the groin area.For a few months now I have been feeling something like a pressure in that area.It more or less felt like some one squeezing the hell out of my testicles.I pretty much ignored it and thought it was just a part of growing old.Well back to when I fell on the damn ice, the pain seemed to be more intensified.I couldn't move my right leg up to a certain height nor could I bring my right leg in to my left inner thigh to do the stretches the Doctor had prescribed.It always felt like I was tearing my hip and thigh apart on the right side.

Well when I went back to see my PCP and told him about the pain, he attributed it to the fall like I did after a few days in pain.Needless to say we were both wrong!!!!!!

I had just got out the shower and was drying off when I reached down and grabbed my right testicle It was the size of a plastic Easter egg, I shit you not.I have never seen swelling like this before in my entire life.I was scared beyond all belief when I could find my left one also.Too much info right?Nope this is one of those necessary evils in life that every one must be informed about.

I went back to the Doctor the following day and whipped my testicles out just as I finished telling him the same thing listed above.Of course the embarrassing part came when I had to have a Ultra-Sound done on my testicles.I mean come on when the technician is a female and isn't your wife is a little embarrassing or at least it was for me.The results came back as having 3 - 4 different cysts on both testicles combined and a mystery mass that could be CANCER!                                                                                                                                   

My mouth pretty much dropped open when told me that last week.

Testicular cancer, I mean come on why am I being picked on with this?I don't want it, so why me?Things like this don't happen to me.I just sit around the house for the past 5 weeks trying to get things in order after my Father-In-Laws funeral and his property in order.Please Lord tell me why this my burden to bear.The pressure from all this going on is not helping me out any Lord.

That is pretty much what had been on my mind for awhile and the thoughts that was following through my mind at the time I heard the diagnosis.All that in about a 3 sec burst of internal rage.Tomorrow I go and see a Urologist about the mystery mass and the swelling part.This is why it is critical that guys we need to check out our testicles about once a year.If they feel funny, tender, or just flat out don't look right then you need to see a Doctor asap.They can stop the swelling or the discomfort if they can catch it early enough and prevent the cysts from becoming a major nuisance.
