Prepping for Two Very Different Events... Three Really

Crunch time COMMENCE!

It's the end of May, and the next 30 days are insane for me.  My To Do list is a three page spreadsheet.  The Main events are Nascar Races for two weekends (including a party at my Dad's Lakehouse, and Memorial Day Weekend), E3, and the beta test temp move to Alabama.

Overwhelmed doesn't begin to describe it.  I finally decided this morning that I couldn't really do much prep for E3 until after Nascar is over.  I've got my 2o2p shirts ordered with the special E3 logo on them.  Hotel/Flight booked.  Really just waiting for that first week of June to get Bedazzled (hair done, nails done, last minute clothing purchases).  Damn I hate being a girl sometimes, makes dress up 1000 times more complicated.  Maybe I'll just say fuck it all and wear some of my husband's Brooks Brothers button downs and slacks .... with heels.... Damn.  That might actually work pretty well.

The Nascar races start this weekend.  It's always a mad rush to find a sitter for my youngest spawn (she like most intelligent people gets bored after about 20 minutes. ;) ) 7am on Saturday you will find me at the Old House on the hill setting up base camp a few blocks from the track.  Two pop tents, chairs, grill, coolers... basically camping for the upper class redneck set up.  Estimated time home... midnight.  So I'm seriously looking into those EnergyDrinkBeers like Sparks.

The next weekend is this weekend times two.  Two races, two tail gate set ups, one additional party at my Dad's that Friday evening.  Plus mah hubby is making the drive up to join us for Memorial Day.  I might actually have to mop the kitchen.  Soldier folk are awfully particular about cleanliness.

Then it's E3 with meetings and networking and parties and madness.   Then the move to Alabama.. literally the day I return.  So all packing up for Bama must be completed prior to departure for E3.

So considering all this, The enormity of all I need to do......

WHY CAN I NOT GET RED DEAD REDEMPTION OUT OF MY HEAD???

All I can think about is going to buy it right now.  I want to join a posse.  I want to ride my horse over dead bodies.  I want to sidle up to someone... try to stop the horse, but pull out my pistol instead and scare the crap out of them.

Maybe I can play it for the next few days... then put it down and tuck in hard to prep/pack mode.  So tempting.....

Red Dead Redemption will be hard to put down and not still be thinking about it. It's what is happening to me right now at work, after taking yesterday off to play it.
