American Idol Season 9

 I'm a fan of this show, American Idol, which I'm sure I can't be the only one here who watches it.  This year is going to be Simon Cowell's last time on the show.  It's definitely not going to be the same without the guy there.  We'll see if it will still keep its popularity up or if it goes down.

So anyone else surprised by the winner?  The final two were both great singers but that last sing-off between Lee and Crystal was pretty one-sided to me.  Anyhow congrats to Lee DeWyze on winning Season 9!

For the other people who watched this show, who did you want to see win?  I really wanted to see Siobhan Magnus win.  She has an amazing voice and is awesome!

I don't watch the show, but the only reason I knew of Siobhan being on there is because that's my daughter's name, and everybody stopped me or called me and told me that they had the same first nameand how cool and unique it was. These were the same people who thought we cursed our daughter, for life, when she was born, by giving her that name. Thought that was pretty funny!!!!! :)

The only time I've seen American Idol is when I'm flipping channels. Rayne,.....you just went down a notch on my respect-o-meter! :D j/k

I watch idol with my wife. She thought there was a fix in for Crystal to win. I asked her who she thought did the most voting and who they would vote for. The results show they did. :)

@TKBoss - Is your daughter's name spelled and pronounced the same way? Guess you did her a favor. @Bonecollector - I'm respected? Thx! :) @Blue - It usually does seem like the judges push for one contestant every season. Last year it was Adam. Crystal did better that last night, but overall they were pretty even.
