COD: Black Ops

Nothing has been released from Activision, but buy.com has a different story. Modern Warfare 2 had the silly idea of having these ridiculously over priced game packages that included nothing more but a tin case and some fancy night vision goggles. Well, Call of Duty: Black Ops (Activision) is considering, allegedly, doing the same thing. Don't know if they will be offering night vision goggles, but including some tiger striped camo fatigues would be pretty cool.

These deals are well and good, but if they want to entice me they need to offer more online multiplayer deals. Like say, get a cool gun early as opposed to getting it later when you rank up. Take Medal of Honor for instance. They are offering a limited edition that gives you shotguns to use during multiplayer. Now that's something I would pay a little extra for.

Below is a screenshot of the listing by Buy.com. Activision hasn't made any announcements regarding the new special edition Black Ops game and the listing has since been pulled, however, it is interesting to see if they release such extras and what these packages will contain. Maybe a mess kit with a P-38 (can opener) included would entice more customers. Just throwing out ideas.
